On March 3, 2016, Khattak delivered an invited talk in the Transportation Speaker Series by National Center for Transportation Systems Productivity and Management (NCTSPM) at Georgia Institute of Technology.
The results of this NSF-sponsored project were disseminated to faculty, students, and practitioners. Specifically, the lecture focused on the role of connected and automated vehicles, data generated by such systems, and use of such large-scale real world data for quantifying potential safety benefits, anticipating travel behavior changes, future vehicle use, and transportation system performance.
